"Just here to say that this group and Alexy have changed my life and my mindset on so much! The other day someone who I consider a work friend made a comment about me needing to lose weight. Before my journey with Alexy, I would have cried and started a diet and exercise program that did not fit me and fail at it and br even more upset. "What is your favorite result that you’ve experienced so far?
My favorite result has been consistency and actually sticking to our workout routine for more than a couple months.
What is something you learned or can do now that you couldn’t before our training?
I hadn’t done any of the big compound movements before. I went from nothing, to just the bar, to actual weight on the bar with my squats, deadlifts and bench presses with good form.
How would you say our training style is compared to what you’ve done in the past?
My training style in the past was constant cardio machines with little pay-off. I was a varsity athlete in high school and had never considered weight lifting because it was always too intimidating to me and not something that “women did” in my mind. I would obsess over how many calories the cardio machines would artificially tell me I burned with little satisfaction. With Alexy I am now consistently training 3 times a week for almost a year now and I am not measuring my worth by numbers on the scale.
If someone was debating whether or not to train with me, what would you tell them?
Alexy isn’t just a trainer, at times she’s a comedian, cheerleader, drill sergeant, and therapist all at once. I can tell she truly cares about her clients and puts the time and work into meeting the individual needs of everyone she works with. She isn’t just going to give you a cookie cutter workout plan and disappear. She will be there for every rep and every set critiquing your form and cheering you on. If it wasn’t for Alexy I can confidently tell you I wouldn’t have been consistently training 2-3 times a week for almost a year now. I would still be spiraling with my binge-constrict diets and ruining my metabolism.
What is your favorite thing about training?
Alexy has played a pivotal role in my life. I came to her obsessed with food, tracking and weighing everything I eat with little self-confidence about myself. She has encouraged me to listen to my body and gain back control of my food and what role it plays in my life. No matter what kind of day I am having I always feel better after training with Alexy. It still isn’t easy but Alexy makes me believe that I am worthy of achieving my goals."

"Alexy is a fabulous workout coach and mentor. My husband and I come in each week and she has a full-body workout ready for us. Sometimes we workout together, sometimes separately, depending on what she has pinpointed as areas we each need to focus on.
She varies our workout routine to keep things interesting. This includes both the type of exercises, and whether we focus on higher reps or heavier weights.
Alexy has given us a home exercises routine, which has improved my posture and flexibility. And she has helped me alleviate a longstanding tendonitis in my elbow, through a focus on form, stretching, and self-massage. She has even made herself available by text when I have questions in between workouts.

She has helped me with all aspects of my fitness, including flexibility, strength, balance, endurance, nutrition and the mental aspects of training. Alexy has helped me develop a healthier relationship with my nutrition, she’s helped me to correct errors in my form on a number of exercises, and she’s provided the accountability and support that has kept me coming back each week.
I can offer two specific examples of the ways in which training with Alexy has benefited me. For years, I have had issues with lower back pain, as my job has me on my feet for long periods of time. Over the past year, while working with Alexy, my back pain has basically disappeared. I also have chronic pain and balance issues due to a severe ankle injury I suffered years ago. I'm 69 years old and have kept in decent shape over the years. With the time and some aches, I had lost my motivation to exercise. While visiting my son in Seattle he suggested that I work with their trainer Alexy during my stay. His and his spouse’s enthusiasm with Alexy convinced me to try. I never had a trainer that got me as much motivated to train. In the first 30 minutes and for the next 4 weeks of my stay, she developed specific workout routines for me with the available equipment I have at home. She spent a great deal of time in meeting my objectives to strengthen my core, gain flexibility and develop functional strength (to play with my grandkids) and offered to keep in touch if I feel I need to.
Alexy is very knowledgeable about training for fitness, proper movement to eliminate risks of injury and to increase stability.
To this day, I am still staying motivated and follow her routines.
